The ADC Adtemp 429 thermometer is a non contact solution that provides a clinically accurate reading at the forehead in about one second. The unit features a measurement feedback system that signals proper operating distance for enhanced accuracy. The non contact design minimizes the risk of cross contamination making it ideal for hospitals clinics or physician offices. Smart features include an audible tone when measurement is complete (as well as night mode to mute volume) auto off 30 reading memory dual body/object mode and a ?C/?F switchable display. The thermometer measures just 12 7 x 5 x 4 5 cm and weighs 85 g (3 oz) with batteries (two AAA batteries included). Meets ASTM E1965 98 standards for accuracy and is backed by a two year warranty.
