Robust spectrometer for investigating the visible spectrum between 360 and 940 nm. Its removable cover allows students to see first hand the spectrum analysis process.?A specially selected transmission grating and precision slit gives high resolution and excellent results. Data collection software is intuitive with real time graphical output (no time tracking of lines).?For easier interpretation of the spectrum each wave band is shaded with the corresponding color. The spectrum can be viewed either as a graph or data table. The availability of several toolbars makes it possible to set the spectrometer parameters to exactly fit the requirements of the experiment. Spectra 1 is supplied ready to use: the unit is tested and calibrated before shipment. Unit is not suitable for absorption spectroscopy and?laptop not included.
