New model including vibration generator now?.. Product Information:?.. Ripple tank with accessories for demonstrating and investigating properties of waves using the example of waves in water. The ripple tank is a shallow tank with a glass floor inside an aluminium frame which can be filled with water and emptied via an integrated drain hose. The tank can be aligned horizontally using a spirit level and height adjustable feet. Local mechanical oscillations the frequency and amplitude of which are set on a frequency generator generate plane waves or circular waves in the water. The set frequency is displayed continuously on the frequency generator while the amplitude is shown temporarily when changed. Wave generation is performed using a vibration generator. A holder with a base is used to mount and position the vibration generator. The wave exciters are mechanically coupled via a connecting arm. Power is supplied through two connection cables via the frequency generator. An LED lamp with a magnetic holder illuminates the tank from above functioning as a stroboscope with either synchronous or asynchronous frequency. Underneath the tank there is an inclined mirror which projects the waves onto an observation screen. With case for storing the accessories and side cutouts on the tank for transportation.
