BS 718 : 1960 is generally aligned with ISO 387 and ISO 650. This sub-series has a greater accuracy than the standard M50 Series, and is only available over a limited range of density. The length is 270mm and the range span covers 0.050 S60/60?F with divisions to 0.001 S60/60?F. They are adjusted at 60/60?F and suitable for low surface tension. This sub-series is commonly used in the Petroleum industry and corresponds to IP 160.
