BS 718 : 1991 is generally aligned with ISO 387 and ISO 649. This sub-series has a greater accuracy than the standard M50 Series, and is only available over a limited range of density. The length is 270mm and the range span covers 0.050g/ml with divisions to 0.001g/ml. They are adjusted at 15?C and suitable for low surface tension. This sub-series is commonly used in the Petroleum industry and corresponds to IP 160.
