Legionnaire?s disease is a potentially fatal form of pneumonia caused by inhaling water mist or droplets contaminated with Legionnaire?s disease bacteria (LDB). Employers and Landlords are required by law to carry out a suitable and sufficient risk assessment of the potential presence of LDB. Brannan has developed a kit to help assess the likelihood of the presence of LDB by measuring the temperature of water in pipes and tanks forming part of the water system.
